About the Book
Music Theory and The Fretboard was created for new and self-taught guitarists who want to finally understand how music fits together on the neck. This book connects music theory to real fretboard shapes through clear visuals and explanations — no unnecessary jargon.

Authors
Denisse Vallecillos is Orchestral Conductor and public school educator. She holds degrees in Music Education and Orchestral Conducting, and co-taught a high school guitar class for five years.
Chris Paul holds a Guitar Skills Certificate from Berklee Online and co-authored Music Theory and The Fretboard. His curriculum helped beginners strum along with songs like “Zombie” and “Hotel California” within weeks.
